UPSC declares final result of Civil Services exam 2020, 761 candidates recommended for appointment

  Shubham Kumar has topped the civil services exam 2020 Jagrati Awasthi and Ankita Jain bag second and third ranks, respectively The  Union Public Service Commission  (UPSC) on Friday declared the final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 and said that a total of 761candidates – 545 men and 216 women – have been recommended for appointment.  Shubham Kumar, a B. Tech (Civil Engineering) graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, topped the list. He qualified with Anthropology as his optional subject, a UPSC press release said. Mr. Kumar was followed by Jagriti Awasthi in the second place. Ms. Awasthi, who had Sociology as her optional subject, was a graduate of B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) from MANIT, Bhopal, it said. BITCOIN PRICE TUMBLES AS CHINA MAKES CRYPTO TRANSACTIONS ILLEGAL

Bitcoin (BTC) suddenly lost $2,000 in an hour on Sept. 24 as what appeared to be old news over a Chinese regulatory ban hit social media.  China’s central bank said all cryptocurrency-related transactions are illegal and must be banned, sending the strongest signal yet on its determination to crack down on the industry. All cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Tether, are not fiat currency and cannot be circulated on the market, the People’s Bank of China said on its website. All crypto-related transactions, including services provided by offshore exchanges to domestic residents, are illicit financial activities, the PBOC said in the statement. This latest harsh directive, which sent Bitcoin dropping as much as 5.5% on Friday, comes as global markets grow increasingly concerned over a debt crisis involving property developer China Evergrande Group.
